Upscale salon seeks Front Desk Sales/Guest Support Staff

Must live locally, within a 15 mile radius of Alpharetta/Johns Creek area.
PURPOSE:
The Front Desk Sales & Support Staff is the first face-to-face contact with
the guest. The front desk staff handles all telephone calls, appointments,
check-in, check-out, cash collection of payments, new guest salon tours, and
guest information gathering and verification, and is responsible for
completion of all practice documents required from the guest. This position is
responsible for the maintenance of the guest waiting area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answers telephones. Gives information about salon to our guest.
Closes salon. Schedules guest appointments according to established
guidelines. Gives directions to the salon to new guest.
Educate guest on our referral program, suggested retail, and pre-booking
benefits.
Assist in making guest confirmation calls. Required to meet sales and pre-
booking goals each month.
Assist in making new guest packets, updating email database, and mailing of
all materials to clients.
Professionally greet all incoming guest, ensure all new guest fill out a new
guest form, take new guest on salon tour.
Count petty cash and batch credit card machine.
Clean lobby at the end of the day and lock doors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Sales retail, additional services and gift certificates to our clients.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Six months to one year experience as a Salon Front Desk Sales/Support Staff
desired. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, and pleasant
customer service personality.
Millennium Software experience preferred.
Knowledge of salon services MUST- extensions, Keratin Treatments, highlights,
color, haircuts, waxing, relaxers, etc.
Knowledge of Redken and Pureology a Plus.
Sales Experience is a Must!
Must maintain a professional appearance.
REQUIRED HOURS:
Training Hours: Tuesday through Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. totaling 24
hours for each week of training. (Training will end when you are checked off
with the knowledge of each aspect of the front desk duties.)
Normal Schedule after Training: (Must be available all the listed hours or
will not qualify for position):
Sunday: 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Monday: Off
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Thursday: 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Friday: 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Saturday: 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate.
